Palmarola

Palmarola

The island of sea stacks and coves, not far from Ponza.

Palmarola is a wild island in the Pontine group, famous for its sea stacks and for coves that are mostly reached from the sea. It has no harbour with the services of Ponza: you experience it from the boat.

With a boat or a RIB you can stop where the water is clearest, swim at anchor and leave whenever you like. RIBs are especially handy for getting close to the coves.

Bring water, a hat and your food: services on the island are few, so it is best to plan lunch on board.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the spot and the rules in force: we tell you before departure.
